Become a member

FSIE was founded as an independent group of the Swiss Informatics Society SI in July 2021. Each member of the FSIE please also register as a member of SI, unless not already registered.

Each member of the FSIE receives a user account after activation. This account grants access to documents and services.

You can apply for 4 member categories:

IT-Professional 

Membership fee: 20.00 CHF
Benefits: Representation as IT professional (not company), Coaching towards Expert FSIE, reduced fees for Expert FSIE
Conditions: Provide an electronic copy of your IT education certificate (apprenticeship, MAS, ES/HF, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D.)

Student 

Membership fee: 10.00 CHF
Benefits: Coaching towards IT professional and subsequently to Expert FSIE, career perspectives 
Conditions: Provide an electronic copy of your study card (only IT studies)

User 

Membership fee: 20.00 CHF
Benefits: Input your IT experience as a user into our regulations and activities, Promote IT user responsibility awareness 
Conditions: open for everyone

Passive member 

Membership fee: 20.00 CHF
Benefits: Input your valued experience into the community 
Conditions: Provide an electronic copy of your AHV/SVS card

IT studies graduates applying within 12 months after the receiving their diploma get a 1 year free membership as IT-Professional.
